Darina Marčeková - metodik
Darina Marcekova is an Oxford Universaity Press teacher trainer specialising in English Language teaching.
She is one of the founders of the Slovak Association of Teachers of English, SAUA/SATE and is the coauthor
of several national documents including standards and curriculum for Lower-Secondary segment as well as the
test for low-secondary and secondary schools. Before she was appoineted to the position of OUP area manager
for Slovakia, she had participated in several international ELT courses in Europe and in America. Since 1995
as a representative of Oxford University Press she was building the position of OUP and created the teacher
training to support teaching English in Slovakia. Her interests cover all areas of ELT. She has been
transfering the theory of teaching into the English language teaching practices, also for many years
has been organizing the Oxford Project Competition.
